We will be going on three or four field trips throughout the school year. All field trips will be scheduled on a Friday. It will be the parents responsibility to get your student to and from the field trip. A parent or another responsible adult needs to stay with your child at all times. I will have multiple classes at the same time and can't watch that many kids on my own. If any of our field trips require admission, your students cost will be covered by the preschool. Younger siblings are welcome, however you will have to cover admission for yourself and any other children that come with you.
Procedures for Field Trips:
When we have a field trip coming up I will let the parents know in our monthly newsletter along with either a text message or an email. On the day of the field trip everyone will meet at the designated place and proceed on with the field trip as scheduled. Please try and arrive a few minutes early so that we can be courteous to our hosts.
I do plan on having many field trips throughout the school year. I don't have exact dates for field trips right now, but this is an idea of what and when you can expect field trips.
October- Pumpkin Patch
November- Fire Station or Grocery Store
January- Library
February- Dentist
April- Farm
May- Nursery or Greenhouse
This is an idea of when we will have these field trips. Plans might change depending on availability of the host.
